Sarushima Uninhabited Island Adventure
Adventure experience on Tokyo Bay's only uninhabited island. The ruins of former Japanese military fortresses create a photogenic island reminiscent of Studio Ghibli's world.
Sarushima is a natural island floating off Yokosuka, the only one of its kind in Tokyo Bay, accessible by a 10-minute ferry ride from Mikasa Park. The ruins of former Japanese military gun batteries and ammunition depots remain as brick tunnels, and their ivy-covered appearance is just like the world of Laputa. You can explore the island while learning about its history through guided tours. In summer, you can enjoy BBQ and sea bathing, and it's also popular as a fishing spot. Despite being an uninhabited island, it's equipped with shops and restrooms, allowing you to easily experience the thrill of adventure.
