Yokohama Motomachi's Main Street is a fashion district with over 150 years of history, originating in Yokohama. In addition to brand shops born in Motomachi such as Kitamura and Fukuzou, it's a sophisticated shopping area where boutiques and select shops of young designers coexist. The 'Motomachi Charming Sale,' held several times a year, is Yokohama's largest bargain event where even normally unaffordable brands are offered at special prices. It's also enjoyable to take a break at stylish cafés while walking through the cobblestone streets.
