Experience Sengoku history at Takeda Shrine, dedicated to Takeda Shingen, the Tiger of Kai
Takeda Shrine was built on the ruins of Takeda Shingen's residence, Tsutsujigasaki Mansion, and is popular as a power spot for victory and fortune. Within the shrine grounds, you can view a three-leaf pine tree traditionally said to have been planted by Shingen and a treasure hall displaying items connected to the Takeda clan. The surrounding area also features the Kofu Castle ruins (Maitsurujou Park) and Shingen's mausoleum, offering an enjoyable historical walk tracing the footsteps of Sengoku warlords.
