JR Tokuyama Station has undergone major renovations in recent years and transformed into a complex facility centered on Shunan City Tokuyama Station Library (Tsutaya Library). Inside you'll find Starbucks and select shops, as well as a well-stocked corner with Yamaguchi Prefecture crafts and specialty products. You can find souvenirs unique to Yamaguchi, such as Oshima tsumugi accessories and Hagi ware accessories. At night, you can also enjoy the factory night view of the Tokuyama Petrochemical Complex from this location.
