Kakushima Bridge
A spectacular 1,780-meter drive across cobalt-blue sea in a perfectly straight line.
Kakushima Bridge is a 1,780-meter bridge that opened in 2000 and boasts one of Japan's longest toll-free bridges. Its straight path across the shimmering Sea of Japan—glowing from emerald green to cobalt blue—creates a spectacular view reminiscent of an overseas resort. It has been featured as a filming location for countless movies and commercials. The observation deck near the bridge entrance offers particularly stunning views and is a popular photography spot on social media. Kakushima also features white sandy beaches and Kakushima Lighthouse, with scenic drives throughout the island.
