Namerikawa Firefly Squid Museum

An interactive museum where you can enjoyably learn about the ecology of firefly squid, a spring tradition of Toyama Bay. In the live theater, children are captivated by the mysterious blue light show that firefly squid emit in the darkness. At the touch pool, you can directly touch firefly squid (spring season only), and in the deep-sea creature exhibition corner, you can also learn about deep-sea creatures from Suruga Bay. The souvenir corner is well-stocked with firefly squid goods.
