Tsukiji Sushi Hand-Rolling Experience Class

At an experience class in a corner of Tsukiji Outer Market, a former professional sushi chef teaches authentic sushi hand-rolling techniques. The experience begins by walking through the market together to select fresh ingredients, followed by learning the full process including how to cook sushi rice, how to season it with vinegar, and how to properly shape the hand-rolled pieces. In about 2 hours, you'll complete 8 to 10 pieces of hand-rolled sushi with your own hands and taste them on-site. The class is offered in both Japanese and English, making it extremely popular with foreign tourists. You'll also receive a certificate of completion—a truly memorable experience.
