Koishikawa Korakuen Garden is a daimyo garden built in 1629 by Tokugawa Yorifusa, the first lord of the Mito Domain, and is a precious garden with dual designation as both a National Special Historic Site and Special Place of Scenic Beauty. This stroll garden modeled after famous Chinese sites features many highlights including the Engetsu Bridge and Oi River. Visitors can enjoy seasonal beauty throughout the year - cherry blossoms and weeping cherry trees in spring, Japanese irises in early summer, and autumn foliage in fall. Despite being right next to Tokyo Dome, it offers a tranquil space and serves as a precious urban oasis. Admission fee: 300 yen.
