Todoroki Keikoku

Todoroki Keikoku is the only gorge within Tokyo's 23 special wards, stretching approximately 1km along the Yazawa River. Walking along the promenade covered with dense trees provides pleasantly cool air even in midsummer. Along the way, you'll find Todoroki Fudo-son temple, a Japanese garden, and ancient burial mounds, offering many points of interest. The scenery changes with each season - cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, and autumn foliage. It's also recommended to take a break at the traditional sweets shop near the gorge entrance. 3-minute walk from Todoroki Station on the Tokyu Oimachi Line.
