A hiking course circling the ruins of Teine Mine, which produced gold and silver during the Meiji era. Remnants of the former mine entrances and ore processing plants remain, making it popular with industrial heritage enthusiasts. The spring greenery and autumn foliage are beautiful, and it is easily accessible within 30 minutes from Sapporo. From the middle slope of Teine Mountain, you can also enjoy views of the Ishikari Plain. Guided history tours are held irregularly.
