Shodoshima Olive Park
The olive island of Shodoshima floating in the Seto Inland Sea. The white Greek windmill and blue sea create a Mediterranean-like atmosphere.
Shodoshima is the birthplace of olive cultivation in Japan, and the white Greek windmill standing on the hill and the blue sea of the Seto Inland Sea create a Mediterranean-like landscape. At Olive Park, it's extremely popular to borrow a broom and take photos in the style of Kiki's Delivery Service. Within the park are the Olive Memorial Museum, Herb Garden, and hot spring facilities where you can enjoy yourself all day. There are many sights on the island including Angel Road and Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village, allowing you to fully savor an island adventure in the Seto Inland Sea.
