Sapporo Beer Museum is Japan's only beer museum, housed in a red-brick building from the Meiji era. Through exhibitions, you can learn the history of Sapporo Beer from the 'Kaitakushi Brewery' established by the Hokkaido Development Commission in 1876 to the present day. On the paid premium tour, you can enjoy tasting the 'Revived Sapporo Meiji Beer' which can only be sampled here. At the adjacent Sapporo Beer Garden, all-you-can-eat and drink Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and beer is popular. The red-brick exterior is also popular as a photo spot.
