A magnificent shrine with vivid vermillion halls, counted as one of Japan's three great Inari shrines
Yutoku Inari Shrine is one of Japan's three great Inari shrines alongside Fushimi Inari and Kasama Inari, welcoming over 3 million worshippers annually. The lavishly decorated main hall features a suspended structure similar to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, with spectacular views from its 18-meter-high stage. Known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn foliage, an elevator was also installed in 2019. It's popular with tourists from Asia as a filming location for Thai movies.
