Mise Soba Highway and Terraced Rice Fields

Mise Village is a highland area in Saga where peaceful mountain village scenery spreads out, despite being only about 40 minutes by car from Fukuoka City. Along the prefectural road called "Soba Highway," over ten soba shops are scattered, specializing in handmade soba using locally produced buckwheat flour. In autumn, the golden terraced rice fields create beautiful scenery, and there are facilities where you can experience soba making.
