Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is a castle built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a base for unifying the country. The current castle keep was reconstructed in 1931. Inside serves as a history museum where you can learn about Osaka's history, and from the top floor you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Osaka city. The vast Osaka Castle Park is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot in spring, with about 3,000 cherry trees blooming in full glory.
