Ikeda Zoo, spread across the hills of Kyoyama in Okayama City, is a cozy zoo home to about 100 species of animals. At the petting area, you can directly touch small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and chicks, making it very popular with children. There are also feeding experiences and pony riding experiences, with the appeal being the close proximity to animals. The park has many slopes, which also provides a bit of exercise. It's conveniently located near Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden, making it easy to visit between sightseeing.
