Autumn Leaves of Tanzan Shrine

A Spectacular View Where the Thirteen-Story Pagoda and 3,000 Maple Trees Weave Together: The 'Nikko of Kansai'
Tanzan Shrine is a shrine dedicated to Fujiwara no Kamatari, and its main attraction is the world's only wooden thirteen-tiered pagoda. In autumn, approximately 3,000 maple trees vividly color the shrine grounds, making it a famous autumn foliage spot known as the 'Nikko of Kansai.' The contrast between the thirteen-tiered pagoda and the autumn leaves is particularly beautiful, and night illumination is also held. The historical romance connected to the Taika Reforms is also a major appeal.
