Nara Park is a vast park spanning approximately 660 hectares, home to about 1,200 wild deer. The deer are designated as a national natural monument and have been cherished since ancient times as messengers of the gods of Kasuga Taisha Shrine. You can feed them deer crackers and take photos together - a unique experience found nowhere else in the world.
