Kaiyo-dai in Nakashibetsu Town is an observatory located on a hill 270 meters above sea level, offering a spectacular 330-degree panorama where "you can see the Earth's curvature." The endless pastures and curved horizon make this a stunning viewpoint that truly conveys the vastness of Hokkaido. In summer, green fields stretch as far as the eye can see, while winter transforms the landscape into a silver world. At night, it's also popular as a spot for stargazing under the full sky of stars.
