Hakuba Kids Nature School

During summer vacation in Hakuba Village, a nature school for children is held. There is a wealth of experiential learning using the rich nature of the Northern Alps as a field, including insect collecting in the forest, aquatic creature observation in streams, and alpine flower observation hikes. Local nature guides lead the activities, where children can learn enjoyably about how nature works and ecosystems. Parent-child participation is also very welcome.
