Sagano Romantic Train

The Sagano Romantic Train runs approximately 7.3km in about 25 minutes from Torokko-Saga Station to Torokko-Kameoka Station in Kyoto's Arashiyama area. Running along the Hozu River valley, passengers can enjoy spectacular seasonal views from the train windows. Particularly during autumn foliage season, the valley is painted in reds and yellows, with illuminations in some sections. The open-air car "The Rich" (Car No. 5) has no windows and offers an exceptional sense of openness, providing a spectacular experience while feeling the wind. Combining the return trip with Hozu River rafting is also recommended.
