Kiyomizu-dera is a representative ancient temple of Kyoto founded in 778 and registered as a World Heritage site. The main hall, known as 'Kiyomizu Stage,' is a suspended wooden structure about 13 meters high, offering spectacular views of Kyoto city from above the cliff. Strolling along the atmospheric approach paths of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka is also one of the pleasures.
