The iconic Bell of Time, with nearly 400 years of history, still announces the time four times daily. Confectioner's Alley sells nostalgic traditional candies and homemade sweets. The specialty sweet potato treats come in abundant varieties, perfect for street snacking. There are many attractions to discover, including the Hikawa Shrine's romantic wind chimes and the Five Hundred Arhats at Kitain Temple.
