Saitama Prefecture's Kasugabe City is known as a production center for paulownia tansu chests, but taiko drum manufacturing also thrives here. At this experience workshop, under the guidance of professional taiko drummers, you can experience everything from basic rhythm patterns to performing complete pieces. The exhilarating sensation of feeling the deep bass resonating throughout your entire body as it echoes from the belly of the large taiko drum is truly exceptional. Programs range from a 1-hour course for beginners to a more authentic half-day course. Group participation is also welcome, and the workshop is especially popular as a team-building activity or school trip program.
