Ryusenryo Cave is one of Japan's three largest limestone caves, located in Iwaisumi Town, and contains eight underground lakes within. The Third Underground Lake is 98 meters deep yet has such clarity that you can see to the bottom, displaying the mysterious blue color known as Dragon Blue. The temperature inside the cave remains around 10 degrees year-round. The sculptural beauty of the stalactites, created by nature over tens of thousands of years, is also breathtaking.
