The Ryujin Great Suspension Bridge located in Hitachi-Ota, Ibaraki Prefecture is a 375m-long pedestrian-only suspension bridge where you can enjoy a thrilling aerial walk approximately 100m above the lake surface. The Ryujin Gorge viewed from atop the bridge displays breathtaking beauty during the fresh greenery and autumn foliage seasons. In spring, koinobori flutter beneath the bridge, and autumn brings the autumn foliage festival. Bungee jumping (reservation required) is also available, and a jump from Japan's highest point becomes a lifelong memory. The surrounding area is equipped with hiking courses.
