Hanno: Tenranzan and Takomineshuyama Hike
Low mountain hiking accessible on foot from Hanno Station. A 2-hour loop course from Tenranzan to Takomineshuyama with panoramic views of the Kanto Plain.
Tenranzan (elevation 195m) and Takomineshuyama (elevation 271m) in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, are easily accessible on foot from the station and popular low mountains even for beginners. From the summit of Tenranzan, the Hanno city area and the ridges of the Oku-Musashi mountains spread out before you, and on clear days you can see all the way to Tokyo Skytree. If you extend further and traverse to Takomineshuyama, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Kanto Plain. The entire route takes about 2 hours, and after descending, the standard course is to cool your feet at Hanno River or relax at a café.
