Mino Akari Art Exhibition

Mino City is home to Mino washi, a traditional craft with a 1,300-year heritage. The 'Mino Washi Akari Art Exhibition' is held every autumn. Washi paper light installations illuminate the historic townscape, creating a fantastical atmosphere. In the experience workshop, you can craft lamp shades and akari art works using washi paper, enjoying the creation of contemporary pieces with traditional materials.
