Nurture dreams of flight with real aircraft exhibits and flight simulators
Adjacent to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Gifu Base, Kakamigahara Aerospace Museum is Japan's largest aerospace specialty museum. Approximately 40 real aircraft are displayed both indoors and outdoors, ranging from pre-war biplanes to the latest space station models. The flight simulators, popular with children, offer the experience of flying through the sky like a pilot. Regular workshops are also held where visitors can try on space suits and learn about rocket mechanisms.
