Furano Lavender Field
Purple lavender fields spreading across the landscape. A spectacular scenic spot representing Furano's summer.
The lavender fields in the Furano and Naka-Furano area are spectacular scenic spots symbolizing Hokkaido's summer. Farm Tomita in particular boasts one of Japan's largest lavender fields, and from early to late July the entire landscape turns purple—a truly magnificent sight. Besides lavender, the popular 'Flower Fields' showcase colorful blooms of poppies, baby's breath, and more. The park features abundant souvenirs including lavender soft serve ice cream and lavender essential oil. The dried flower shop allows visitors to enjoy lavender year-round.
