Yokote Kamakura Experience · For Children

At the Yokote Kamakura Festival, children make offerings to the Water God inside a snow room with a diameter of 3.5m and serve amazake and grilled mochi as a traditional event. Mini kamakura making experiences and snow sculpture contests are also held, where children can joyfully learn about snowy region culture. The night scenery with lights glowing on approximately 100 kamakuras is like a snowy fantasy world.
