常滑市, Aichi
Leisurely stroll along Tokoname's Pottery Walking Path, watched over by a giant lucky cat
Tokoname City is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns and is known as a pottery town. The Pottery Walking Path is an approximately 1.6 km walking course lined with kilns and workshops, offering a unique landscape with brick chimneys and clay pipe slope. Midway through the course stands a 3.8-meter-tall giant lucky cat called 'Tokonya-n', which is hugely popular as a photo spot. You can also enjoy pottery-making experiences and shopping for cat merchandise.
