Shirahama Coral Reef Diving

Shirahama, influenced by the Kuroshio Current, is a rare habitat for table coral on Honshu. During experience diving accompanied by an instructor, you can encounter colorful tropical fish and sea turtles swimming between the coral reefs. There's also a half-day course with no license required, so even beginners can safely experience the charm of diving. July through September, when water temperatures are high, is the best season with excellent visibility.
