Nanbu Plum Harvesting Experience

Minabe Town is the birthplace of Nanko plums and Japan's largest plum-producing region. During the June harvest season, you can participate in a Nanko plum harvesting experience at plum orchards, and enjoy the pleasure of picking large, thick-fleshed plums with your own hands. Workshops for making umeboshi and plum syrup using the harvested plums are also held, allowing you to complete homemade umeboshi at home. Agricultural experiences in the beautiful scenery of the plum grove soothe the heart.
