Hashigui Rock is a natural sculptural masterpiece where over 40 rocks of various sizes line up in a single row for approximately 850 meters, stretching from Kushimoto toward Kii-Oshima Island. This scenic spot, which has a legend of Kobo Daishi attempting to build a bridge in a single night, is designated as a National Natural Monument. The sight of the sunrise rising over the Pacific Ocean between the rocks is particularly spectacular, commanding tremendous popularity among photography enthusiasts. During low tide, you can walk close to the rocks.
