Touch pool and feeding experiences at Uozu Aquarium, Japan's oldest aquarium
Uozu Aquarium is the oldest existing aquarium in Japan. It features approximately 300 species of creatures, primarily deep-sea fish from Toyama Bay and freshwater fish from the Hokuriku region. The kids' touch pool allows visitors to directly touch starfish and sea cucumbers, while the diver underwater feeding show is hugely popular with children. Despite its compact size, this facility offers plenty of learning opportunities and is enjoyable even for preschoolers.
