Fudo Falls of Todoroki Gorge

Todoroki Gorge, located in the middle of a residential area in Setagaya Ward, is the only gorge in Tokyo's 23 wards. As you descend the stairs from Golf Bridge, the temperature drops several degrees and you enter another world enveloped in lush forest. Walking along the approximately 1km trail, you reach Fudo Falls and can feel the history of this sacred site in the Shugendo mountain ascetic tradition. Within the grounds of Todoroki Fudo Temple, there is also a tea house where you can spend peaceful moments enjoying matcha while gazing at the greenery of the gorge.
