Nippori Textile Street is Japan's largest-class textile wholesale district with 80 or more fabric and craft stores lined up along approximately 1 km. Visited by a wide range of people, from professional fashion designers to handmade enthusiasts, you can purchase imported fabrics, lace, buttons, ribbons, and more at bargain prices. At the remnant fabric clearance sales, high-quality fabrics can sometimes be found at half the price or less compared to regular shops. Visiting in combination with sewing classes is also recommended.
