The Oya Museum in Utsunomiya City is a facility showcasing a former Oya stone quarry site. The quarry ruins stretching approximately 30 meters underground form a magnificent space resembling an underground temple, with lighting projected onto the stone walls creating a mysterious atmosphere. The underground space stays cool in summer and warm in winter, and has been used as a filming location for movies and music videos. The Oya district is filled with buildings constructed from Oya stone, offering unique and distinctive scenery.
