At Mōoka Railway, a steam locomotive (SL) operates every weekend, making it a popular local line among train enthusiasts. Particularly in early April, the cherry blossom avenues along the line reach full bloom, and the spectacular sight of the SL belching smoke as it rushes through a tunnel of cherry blossoms is an impressive photography spot. The vicinity of Kita-Mōoka Station is particularly famous, where you can enjoy a harmonious trio of rapeseed flowers, cherry blossoms, and the SL. The SL 96 Museum is also recommended.
