Spectacular Scenic Drive at Teshikaga 900 Grassland

Teshikaga's 900 Grassland is a vast municipal pasture spanning approximately 1,440 hectares. From the observation platform at about 350 meters above sea level, a green carpet of pastureland stretches to the horizon, offering spectacular 360-degree panoramic views. This idyllic pastoral landscape, where approximately 2,500 dairy cows graze, captures the true vastness of Hokkaido. On clear days, you can see Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, and Mount Ioo in the distance, with the Akan mountains visible on the horizon. The soft serve ice cream at the rest house is also highly recommended.
