Ritsurin Park is a stroll-through daimyo garden created over approximately 100 years and designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty by the Japanese government. With Mt. Shiun as a borrowed landscape, the garden's beauty—featuring six ponds and thirteen artificial hills skillfully arranged—is known as 'every step reveals a new view.' It has earned three stars in the Michelin Green Guide.
