A hot spring village of hidden thermal springs scattered throughout Towada-Hachimantai National Park

Nyuto Hot Spring Village is composed of seven hot springs located northeast of Lake Tazawa. Each has a different spring quality, allowing visitors to enjoy diverse hot springs including opaque sulfur springs and bicarbonate springs. Among them, Tsuru no Yu is the most famous, known for its thatched-roof main lodge and milky-white outdoor bath.
