Dramatic cliffs and suspension bridge created by lava from Omuroyama with spectacular views
Jogasaki Coast is a dramatic cliff formed by lava from the eruption of Omuroyama approximately 4,000 years ago, which reached the coast and was shaped by wave erosion. The highlight is the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge at 48m long and 23m high, offering spectacular views of the rugged lava coast and Pacific Ocean spreading out below. Along the walking trail 'Picnical Course', you can stroll along approximately 3km of coastline, and it's also a beautiful spot with seasonal flowers.
