Atkawa Banana Crocodile Garden, located in East Izu's Atkawa Hot Spring area, is a unique facility that utilizes geothermal heat to cultivate tropical plants and raise crocodiles. The garden features about 20 varieties of crocodiles collected from around the world, along with red pandas, manatees, and other animals, plus greenhouses with tropical fruits such as bananas and papayas—making it extremely popular with children. Visitors can also enjoy a tasting corner for hot spring bananas and a red panda feeding experience.
