Yushien - Peony Flower Garden

Yushien is a strolling pond garden located on Daikon Island, which floats in Nakaumi. Flowers bloom magnificently throughout the four seasons, starting with the peony, the prefectural flower of Shimane Prefecture. Especially during peony season from late April to early May, the sight of peonies floating across the entire pond surface, known as 'Pond Peony,' is spectacular. Within the garden, the tea house offers dishes and sweets made with Daikon Island's specialty ginseng. The autumn illumination event is also magical.
