Kamimon-dori extends in front of the main gate of Izumo Taisha and is a shopping street offering matchmaking goods and Izumo's special products. The street is lined with a variety of souvenirs, including magatama accessories, matchmaking amulets, Izumo soba dried noodles, and clam tsukudani. Street food is abundant, with Izumo zenzai—a signature dessert of its birthplace—a must-try. You can stop by before or after your visit.
