Inasa Beach is located about 1km west of Izumo Taisha and is known as the stage of the Kuniyuzuri myth, a beautiful sandy beach. The collaboration of Benten Island standing on the shore and the sunset sinking into the Sea of Japan makes it Izumo's finest scenic spot. In the 10th month of the lunar calendar, the eight million Kami from across the nation are said to land from this beach, and the Kamimukae ceremony is held. It is a must-visit spot when visiting Izumo Taisha.
