Junior Yacht School where you can start from elementary school at Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake
Lake Biwa has calm waves and stable winds, making it an ideal environment for junior yacht practice. At the yacht school in Otsu City, you can practice sailing an Optimist class yacht solo starting from 3rd grade. The technique of reading the wind and handling sails develops children's judgment and concentration, while building their ability to engage with nature. Summer camp also nurtures social skills through cooperation with peers.
