Shuri is an area that flourished for approximately 450 years as the capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The stone-paved road in Kinjo-cho is a roughly 300-meter sloped path paved with Ryukyuan limestone, lined on both sides with picturesque red-tiled traditional houses and Fukugi tree-lined paths. A popular walking course that descends this stone-paved road while visiting World Heritage sites such as Shikinaen, Tamaudun Mausoleum, and the Sonohyan Utaki Stone Gate. It is an area where you can feel the history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom deeply.
